EVENTS

Upcoming or ongoing on-site events

Taylor, our fabulous gardener, has been busy playing in the dirt.  Not only are the veggies, flowers, and herbs he grows delicous and beautiful but the garden itself is lovingly maintained and a delight to see.  Seasonal items are available for sale at our Cottage Store as well as at local farmers markets.  Pick up some fresh grown basil or a nice bouquet.  You won’t be sorry.

Join us at our Annual Holiday Craft Store in the Drying Barn Black Friday weekend – November 26 – 28, 2021.  Crafts, made by our staff, and refreshments will be available for purchase just in time for holiday gift giving.  Items will be available from 11/26 through 12/23, as supplies last.

Weddings

Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor makes a lovely setting for a small wedding of 100 or less.  Weddings and receptions are held outdoors.  Our Event Coordinator, Josie, can provide you with more information and suggestions regarding tent rental, catering, and pricing.  She can be reached at events@lavenderfieldsde.com

Barn Rental/Small Groups

The Drying Barn is available for small group events and rental. This historical building is a two story shingled building between the Cottage Store and the Tea Room/Kitchen.  It dates back to the mid 1950’s, when this was a dairy farm.  After lots of work and renovation, it now serves as a small meeting room, art gallery, and is where we dry our hand cut lavender bundles upstairs.  For more information, please contact Janet at 302-684-1514.

Classes

At this time, no classes are scheduled.

Teas

We are lucky to have a fabulous french baker on staff – Martine!

Martine prepares delicious baked goods, which are available for sale at the farmers markets and in our cottage store.  Martine also is the one to contact to schedule a small group tea in our Tea Room.  Martine will discuss menu options, pricing, seating, and availibility.  Please call her directly at 540-905-9561 for more information and to make arrangements for your very own private tea.

Professional Photo Shoots

There is a $25 location fee charge for commercial photo shoots up to a two (2) hours on the property.  Pricing for larger groups or longer shoots will be determined on an individual basis.

Scheduling and payment can be made in advance by calling the Cottage Store during normal business hours at 302-684-1514.

Our regular hours are 10am – 4pm daily.  Please keep in mind that this is a private residence and we ask for your respect and courtesy while onsite outside those hours as we try to control after hours visitation for the owner’s safety and peace of mind.

Open Talks

Open talks for 2021 are over.  Come back in Spring 2022!

Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM from mid-June until mid October, we host an open talk on the history of the farm, its amenities, and, of course, how to grow lavender and its uses. Talks generally last about an hour and begin in the Sassafras Grove. As this is an outdoor walk & talk tour, good walking shoes and drinking water are advised.  Reservations are not required.
